Tellius Heroes: Enamel Pin Collection

Hi everyone, great news! The majority of the pins have been dispatched to me, with the exception of Ranulf who unfortunately had areas of miscoloured enamel. I am expecting them to arrive early next week and will work hard to grade them all as fast as I can.

My tentative fulfillment goal is the last week of August, with the exception of this pledges that selected Ranulf, who I will be reaching out to shortly.

I have set all BackerKit pin selections to automatically lock in 48 hr, so now is your last chance to pick which designs you’d like! Addresses will lock early next week when I receive the pins in hand. Cards will be charged at that time to collect shipping fees and add-on payments if applicable.

For backers going to Fanexpo Canada in Toronto next weekend, I am offering pickup! Shipping fees will be refunded upon pickup. Email me at [email protected] to arrange it.

Hi everyone!

Happy to announce that the pins are coming up to the last stretch of production, the bottleneck of the whole pipeline, the screenprinting. Tibarn has just been finished while some others are expected to finished within the next few days. Haar and Leanne just came out of polishing and and have been added to the screenprint queue to be done soon.



Ranulf recolour has been approved and is finishing up as well! My factory is aiming for shipment to me by the end of the month still and I’m very excited. 

Some production photos for Haar and Leanne! This is from right before buffing stage. It’s normal for there to be enamel overfill in areas. The entire surface is buffed down to reveal the lines and smooth surface, to be sent to electroplating. These are from a week or two ago but still an interesting peak into the process.

Hi everyone! I’m happy to report that a few of the pins have already been completed while the remaining designs are in the last stage, screen printing. I have some photos of share of the completed ones below! 

 
Unfortunately, the factory made Ranulf’s skin in an incorrect colour that is darker and more green than the colour code I chose. He will be remade. Hopefully it won’t delay the batch too much, but if it does I will arrange for the rest of them to ship first.


As seen, the skin has a green tint to it compared to the tan yellow as requested (466c). 

I’m excited to receive more photos of the other completed designs in the following days. Thank you all for the patience!

Hi everyone! I’ve received word that all the base plates for the pins have been completed and they’re currently being arranged for enamel fill at the factory. I’ve asked for some photos and hope to be able to share those soon. 

Few changes were made during the proofing stage, with the exception of the Ragnell freebie for all those who backed both @xiumai and I’s projects. It’s a good update I hope, as the pin will now be even bigger in order to better showcase the stained glass detailing, in addition to the finer petal details being changed to screen printing. 

This part of the production is always a bit quiet as the factory just kind of does their thing while I sit here thinking about them doing their thing. But no problems so far! 

I’m still waiting on a few stragglers for the BackerKit surveys, so do send those in as soon as you can.

Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay on surveys. Finalizing designs for 15 pins proved to be a lot more time consuming that I anticipated (lmao). Please check your e-mails. The surveys will be where you select your pins, input shipping address, select add-ons and pay for the shipping.

Shipping addresses will be able to be changed before shipping this summer!

In other news, I have had to modify the design of the pintopia cross collab pin slightly to optimize the intended effects. The stained glass flowers will now feature screenprinting in the finer details instead of metal cutouts to reduce the rate of errors and muddled fills. After going back and forth with my factory about the logistics of this design, I think this change will be for the better in preserving the intricacy of the design while maintaining the stained glass feature.
